This
mural was completed in April
of
2006. This was the most detailed and largest composition
to date. Not only was the challenge already
predetermined
for me regarding this image due to the rectangular cut
out of the wall found in the
direct
middle, but also because the theme (a bridge) was
already originated by the proprietor of Queen’s. Of all
the murals I had completed to this
point,
I truly feel that the most impressive aspect of this
mural was how I invented the idea of how to work the cut
out into the entire
picture |

without it standing out so much as it did before
with just a plain wall. When viewing this
particular illustration, you can see
how the picture plane divides directly above the stone
wall from an image
that has a fairly long distance for
its reflective properties, to a representation
that has
an extreme close view to hopefully add a close
comforting nestled
effect with regard to the Japanese
Carp. |
